MSN LIVE take front page advert on Metro

I got the metro newspaper this morning and MSN Live have take a full page advert on front of the metro.
I wonder if this has any effect at all, it was going on about its msn images search more than pure webpages searches.

I doubt it will make a chink on google.

Also noted ASK had an advert in there too, not used that SE for years does anyone get many referrels from them

That's interesting, I wish I was near a station today to pick a copy up. I think the advert would have been placed just to remind city budget holders that they are available espec for Dec/Jan if all £'s haven't yet been allocated.

What does the ad say?

Ask in the UK, run Google results. In the US I think they still have a sales team.

Now if only MSN live (search) got their backend sorted out....x-fingers MS chuck a shed load of money at it and then we might actually see some competition to Google's rein of terror and therefore PPC bids falling...
