Mobile Phone Sites

Howdy,

I have been working on a mobile phone site for a year and as yet have not made any money from it.

I notice that a lot of affiliate mobile phone sites just have pages of deals and drop down boxes to search on phone deals.

Is this the winning combination to make a go of mobile phone sites?

Surely people make money by advertising a particular deal unless you happen to be very fortunate to get on page one of Google for key deals.

I am not sure what to do next, should I create one of these mega deal comparison sites or just focus on what I have already and do some advertising?

The first step would be to get good search rankings on keyphrases, including longtail, but the sector is ferociously competitive and you will be up against some very experienced SEOs.

Put yourself in the mind of a mobile customer and it will help you work out what you need to do

Its hard to say without seeing your website. When you say, advertising a particular deal, is it a mobile phone blog you have? And you do posts on particular deals or hadsets?
