    Hi Guys,

Just needed a bit of advice. When creating a mobile phone site how do you guys look ate the labour extensive task of updating changing offers.

The phones that are offered are in big numbers, and so are the deals, how do you cope with so much changing and every time you change the SEO work will change.

Also is there and easy way of building mobile phone sites?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi

I have no mobile site however would think the below could start a few people giving you some answers.

I also dont profess this to be correct, so please dont just take my word for it

seo - I would block access to all but the main pages, ie, no product pages to be indexed. I would then have a blog type section to write about the latest offers, and put a lot of unique original content here.

Up To Date Offers - I would probably use a seperate table of brands/manufacturers and use this to set best converters, and write a script to display on the main pages. Then to keep this upto date all I need do is change a phone in this new table.. This means I can concentrate on generating traffic writing for my blog. Setting up backgrounds/css can make any selection of handsets todays special offer!

php can be used to write a mobile site, without a huge deal of knowledge, your problem will be competing with the millions of sites already about doing it well.. and then when you get traffic, converting it.

anyway, like I said, hopefully my uneducated reply will get people with the right knowledge giving you more answers.

    Good luck.

Look for merchants that provide data feeds. Data feeds are integerated in to your site ONCE. They are then updated by the merchant, ensuring that your page(s) are entirely up to date.

RAW Data feeds can be provided in XML or Database.

In a perfect world the merchant will provide them as an RSS feed, iFrame or web widget.

Be sure that any data feed offered automatically embeds your affiliate code.
