phones.co.uk domain, looking for partnerships

I own phones (dot co.uk), and I had a lucrative leasing deal lined up with a large mobile phone firm last year. However this fell through, supposedly due to the credit crunch affecting mobile phone sales.

I thought this might be a good place to list the domain and see if there was any interest in terms of partnerships. I would prefer some form of simple leasing deal but I am open to other ideas. Please get in touch if you are interested.

Geez .. why are looking to share this? Why not get a site up and start driving some traffic as an affiliate? With a name like that and a few weeks of content building and then a few months of backlinks you'd make plenty of cash.

let us know how it goes - im interested to know if such a domain really is as valuable as people think. For example, google phones now and that domain is nowhere to be seen. Sure, with some good backlinks it will rank, but the top ranking site is phones4u. So actually all it needs is any URL with phones in it and a marketing team?

I guess it's impossible to measure objectively but id love to know what happens to this domain if an a4u member buys it. How quickly can it rank well? Is that because of the domain or a rich program of backlinks (that arguably would boost any domain up the ranks)? etc?

Own the marketing...let someone else worry about the tech backend

I could worry about the backend if you'll do the marketting. Sometimes its always not as difficult as it appears its only a matter of given it a go, dedication and time.

I would reckon I know more about the backend than most people on this forum We run over 100 backend feeds and keeping them all running can be a nightmare. IF I could change it I would only do the marketing, that is easy
