I think microwaving it or blending it would be good.

My other half isn't going to be happy if I use our microwave or blender to do it though

Almost destroyed the microwave last month, when I went to sterilize my daughters bottles and forgot to put the water in the sterilizer. Got alerted by the burning smell after 4 minutes, and found the microwave was too hot to touch! Suprisingly it still works fine

I should of taken one to the buy.at football and put that in the way of the balls instead of my arms, toes, legs, knees etc etc

Based on previous exprience just tell the kids to leave it alone, destroyed in 5 minuites.

Set it to use a bird ringtone and then ring it and see if the cat kills it.
