I received this email a few days ago:

Hi Amy,

I write with reference to your profitistic affiliate account.

Please can you explain in detail how you are generating leads on the following offers using http://www.swapitshopforum.net

Money Yogi - Debt Management
Money4Gold
Simply.com

If there is no response within the next 2 days then we will unfortunately have to deactivate your account and return all commission to the advertiser.

To which i replied with:

Hi,
Yes, i am a moderator (Amy) on swapitshopforum.net. If you see at the top there are advertising banners? (at the moment there is a cashback sign up one).
The offer was on a rotational banner. We do this so that the forum earns money and can pay for regular hosting ect.
So, the odd members click on these banners and order free gifts/money making or money saving items. We only use affiliate offers throughout periods when nobody requires a monthly banner - at the moment there is a monthly banner up until around the 14th of may.

Also; whilst im replying.. Is it ok if i ask you some questions about an advertising account?

I'd just like to know that if i credit £30 (or whatever the minimum amount is), when all my leads are used up, will the offer remove itself? If not, could you possibly explain how your system works (I've come across a few and they all work differently).
I currently have affiliate advertising on cashillionconnect, although would like to further my advertising onto a site like profitistic and affiliate future.

I then waited 2 days and got an email to say my account has been suspended and have lost ALL commission i earnt fairly and rightfully.
I have been using affiliates for just over 2 years now and now how these systems work and should work.

This is the email i received today:

Hi,

I write with reference to your Profitistic affiliate account.

We have received complaints regarding the quality of leads you have been generating.

Upon investigation, we have evidence of fraud on your account.

Subsequently, and in accordance with our network terms and conditions, we have been given no option but to deactivate your account and return any commission to the merchants.

And have only just replied with:

Hello,

I wrote back 2 days ago regarding some leads. In which i hope you received my email. If some leads have been deamed fraudulent could you please remove those from my account and pay my final balance before suspending my account.
If not, i will see what rights i have using citizens advice, because i know for a fact atleast 90% of leads werent fraudulent.
I also wrote back regarding an advertisers account, but have yet had no reply.
I will be phoning profitistic later, if there is a number provided to talk about this further, unless i receive an email

I've used trienta,affiliate future,cashillion connect and any invalid leads have only ever been scrubbed and still paid my final balance. I offered no incentives and only advertised how the requirements of each offer asked. As i said; if i dont received my account back/dont receive any funds that i earnt correctly, then i'll have to see what other rights i have. Because i in no way went against the terms and conditions. It appears other people have been paid their final balance before being deactived and i would like the same right as those people. I hope this can be resolved. Amy Ellis

So, as you have decided to make it public (again), let me check I have this straight:

You suddenly want paying for the balance of any leads not scrubbed by our filter, just as the other fraudsters were (or just as YOU were before). Well, I have some bad news. You, or any other fradusters will not be paid a single penny more by my network, and you can do all your scammy little blackmail tricks ('don't pay me and I will post that you don't pay on your A4U forum') as much as you like - it just gives us an opportunity to prove to our advertisers/merchants that we don't tolerate fraud. We do not get paid for your crappy leads and neither will you.

So, in your case, you are probably the most naive fraudster of them all - I mean this is real kids stuff.

We actually stopped logging additional fraud notes when we hit 5:

1. Multiple leads from the same i.p addresses on the same campaigns
2. You assure us that this was through a banner, but there are no click ID's
3. You conversion rate on campaigns averaging 1-2% are 80%+
4. The i.p's of some of your leads match those from the other fraudsters posting here for the same campaigns
5. Your telephone number is invalid (surprise!)

So, in summary, i would like nothing more to meet you in court and have this out with the evidence we have without even trying.

I don't understand why, just because other members have had invalid leads means that i am the same person?
If you check my ip against those other peoples ip's you will see that we are infact not the same people.

Phone number issue: I do not,very rarely, put my number onto new affiliate sites, because i never know if they are trustworthy. For example, your site looks very much like trienta? I've never received a payment from trienta and cannot guarentee i will you (well obviously not now, since you are being blank minded).

Threats? I never once threatend you? And will not threaten you. But somtimes posting things on forum, gets a quicker reply, as some sites do not reply to emails. Like i didnt receive an email back from you about advertising, the banners issue ect.

Fraudster?; certainly am not, i've run several sites and very rarely had any comebacks. Although was warned about profitistic, although still went ahead and attempted to use the site.
I not once, had any complaint from money or cash 4 gold on cashillion connect or affiliate future.

But i will phone you in a moment - i dont personally like to phone and talk over the phone to people i do not know, however i would like for you to explain why im a fraudster and know that im not Nick or Jamie ect.

Hi,
Just been on the phone to Dave. Dave explained the way in which offers were 'fraudulently' completed and i took full responcibility for this.
I would advice people in future to not ask other people to complete offers for them, because i never realised how serious this was. In basic; Complete offers in such away - your account will be suspended and legal action can be taken.

Personal note from myself;
I never meant to make it seem asif i was bringing the reputation of profitistic down, was litterally after a faster reply. And in future would like to do buisiness with you.. Hopefully use offers and such on my cashback sites. So will deffinatly* think about this and phone you again soon.

I would like to thank Amy for calling me to discuss this matter further. She did also provide me with a valid contact number before our conversation.

As previously mentioned, the account has been suspended due to clear and obvious fradulent activity, and after explaining the evidence we have, Amy took full responsibility for this and apologised for publicising this on our forum, and fully understood our position.

Amy also stated that all of the affiliates who suddenly contributed to this thread (http://www.affiliates4u.com/forums/p...payment-q.html) were also involved in a ring that she belonged to (with communication using MSN Messenger), completing offers on behalf of each other on high-paying, non-incentive campaigns. The 'front' for this activity was usually cashback sites.

We uncovered this activity and took the appropriate action as is our duty as a responsible, reputable network (even though this always means less commission for ourselves).

As a network, we have a zero-tolerance policy towards any kind of fraud as a means of protecting our advertisers/merchants and in order to protect legitimate cashback (and other) affiliates.
