Next Sunday the 11th Of October I will be gasping my way round the Swindon Half Marathon in aid of The Spinal Injuries Association. This is because my Mum, Maureen suffered a serious spinal injury in September 2008. Following this she spent several months in the spinal injuries unit at Salisbury District Hospital.
During her time in their I became aware of the fantastic work the Spinal Inuries Asscociation does in helping people who have suffered a serious Spinal Injury.
Having seen at first hand the great work they do, I would like to try and help raise fund to help others. If you could make a small donation via the just giving website the charity will recieve the full amount plus a gift aid contribution from the government.

On the running front the training is going ok and the legs look like they might get my not inconsiderable weight around the 13 miles or so. I'm also looking forward to being reunited with my freinds Stella and Artois on the afternoon of the the 11th of October!
