Hi all,

After three months of blood, sweat and tears from all of our affiliates who drove amazing sales for us at Christmas, we’re thrilled that the time has come to announce the winners of our incredible holiday prizes including 7 nights in Bali and two European city breaks.

Every week from October 19 we came up with new ways for affiliates to win extra entries into the Bali prize draw, and we’d like to thank all of you who kept going the extra mile week after week to earn more chances to win.

So without further ado, I’m delighted to announce that the much-envied winner of 7 nights for two in Bali is:

Runner-up prizes - European City Breaks

That’s not all…we also have two runner-up prizes of a weekend city break the winners’ choice of location (Cannes, Venice or Barcelona).

The first prize is awarded to the creator of the best Red Letter Days landing page. This was judged by a panel of Red Letter Days staff and industry heavyweights Pete Rowe and Kevin Edwards, representing our two affiliate networks affilinet and Affiliate Window.

We have had some great entries for this and it certainly wasn’t an easy decision to make. However after much deliberation, we’ve awarded this prize to:

The judges noted the integration David has done with the video and the locations, which covers off all the main information simply and quickly, and within an attractive and easy to navigate format. Congratulations David!

The second winner was drawn from a pool of the top 5 most improved affiliates from last year (based on the uplift achieved on sales results from 1 October to 31 December 2008 to the same period in 2009) and the top 5 best new affiliates (signed up on or after 15 September 2009).

The winner of this prize has driven fantastic results for Red Letter Days and certainly deserves a relaxing weekend break:

In earlier times a church festival or saint's day' more recently, any special day is called red letter day.
This comes from the practise of making the dates of church festivals on calendars in red.
The first explicit reference to the term in print that we have comes from America.this is the simple use of the term Red Letter Day.
The term came into wider use in 1549 when the first Book of common Prayer included a calendar with holy days marked in red ink.

Me too. A lot go unannounced or are as transparent as a breeze block.

I'm sure there's a website idea in there or an idea for a new section in A4U, highlighting which draws have yet to be announced.
