Direct drive
• Unlike standard washing machines, the motor of the direct drive machines is attached directly to the drum, with no need for belt or brushes, meaning it's more stable with less wobble, vibration and noise and has less moving parts to go wrong.
• More durable, enables larger wash loads.
• An inverted motor helps ensure the machine is more economical to run, and LG are so confident as to it’s reliability they’ve given it a 10 year guarantee.
• Intelligent washing system can wash as little as 2kg of washing in any size drum.
• The load detection system weighes the loaded laundry and automatically selects the optimum wash and rinse time as well as water consumption, lowering energy and water consumption.

Steam clean
• Steam dissolves dirt better than water because steam molecules are so much smaller, hotter and more active. They get between fibres to dissolve dirt, remove odour and destroy allergens.
• A dual spray system releases water and steam simultaneously into the drum improving heating efficiency and time.
• Saves water and energy. LG Steam Direct Drive will reduce energy consumption by as much as 21% when compared to a conventional 8kg capacity washing machine.
• Don't need a full wash? Just need to give your clothes a quick freshen up, simply select the "Steam refresh" setting. In 20 minutes you will have fresh, crease free clothing!
