Legal & General would like to inform you of some up and coming improvements that are being made across the home insurance product.
Our extensive consumer and product research shows it’s clear not everyone wants the same from their home insurance. Different people want different levels of cover to suit their needs. For this reason I am delighted to announce the launch of the Essentials and Extra home insurance products from Legal & General on the 12th October.
The two products are designed to appeal to a broader target audience and in turn provides a bigger opportunity for our partners to maximise sales.
Choose more cover with Extra
Extra is designed for those who’ve built up their home and possessions and want more comprehensive
cover. If you’ve got more to cover, then Extra gives you the added protection you need.
Cover the Essentials and pay less
If you simply want the basics covered, Essentials could be just right for you. For example, why pay for plant cover if you don’t have a garden? Our two levels of cover offer you that choice.
Along with the new initiative Legal & General have revamped and re-branded their website and online application and are launching a campaign that will be rolled out across online, offline and TV in the coming months.
The key messages surrounding the new proposition are:

• Choice
• Value
• Service
• Trust
It’s a really exciting time at the moment for Legal & General and we would really like you to become part of the success.
New creative and copy will be supplied in good time for the re-launch and will be readily available from the Legal & General Affiliate Centre.
We will also be announcing our affiliate competition very soon so keep your eyes peeled for further updates or sign up to our RSS feed at the Affiliate Centre.
In the mean time please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have surrounding the re-launch and remember Legal & General pay out £55 commission for every validated policy you generate for non-incentive sites, and up to £50 for incentive sites. Sales are validated once the customer has made their third direct debit payment.
