As mentioned earlier last week Weightworld has undergone a number of changes in the last couple of months. One area that WeightWorld will be focusing on is its affiliate programme and helping to work with affiliates to get the best incentives for you to push orders as well as revenues for both parties.

The current offerings that are provided on the program have been reviewed and some changes will be made that are designed to help improve your potential earnings. To start the cookie length will be increased from 30 days to 90 days.

Secondly commissions have been restructured, please see the new structure below:

Voucher/Promotional code affiliates: Weightworld will be offering a basic 3.5% commission. Remember the current promotional code is WWOCT10 and offers 10% discount on the cart value.

Content affiliates: The restructuring of the voucher code commissions has allowed Weightworld to award more to our other affiliate sales. The standard commission rate will increase from 10% to 13% and will now also include an Economic Value (EV)*. You qualify for EV payment when you have 10 orders or more.

This new structure means that for a small amount of promoting you can potentially earn a high return. And if you do actively promote the programme you will see your earnings soar.

Super affiliates: Weightworld have now taken super affiliates into account and will gladly reward them for their active promotion. This will be through invite only but you will qualify if you consistently deliver sales for 3 months above £2000.

Once you qualify as a super affiliate Weightworld will gladly discuss the best commission structure one on one with you but a minimum commission would be 15%, plus you will qualify for bonuses as well as stand a chance to win incentive competitions.

Robert Parker 'honoured' by merciless cartoon satire

American wine critic Robert Parker has applauded a French comic book which mercilessly lampoons him and the wine styles he champions. The book mocks well-known winemakers and proprietors who are associated with Parker. The cartoons pull no punches – Parker is ridiculed for promulgating an ultra-ripe style, while Davies and Rolland are portrayed as arch-manipulators of the 100-point scoring system. Ironically, Parker told Decanter Magazine that he loved the comics and hopes that they enjoy great success in many countries.
