We’d like to remind you about the launch of Legal & General’s new home insurance products, as well as let you know about two fantastic new incentives!

Last week, Legal & General launched Essentials and Extra – giving customers a choice
of cover. The launch comes with a big campaign across online and offline media including a new TV Advert.

To coincide with the product launch, we’re delighted to announce that we will also be launching two fantastic incentives:

Launch competition 1 - Manchester United Executive seats. The two affiliates that achieve the largest % increase in sales during November (compared to September), win a ticket to a Manchester United game at Old Trafford, accompanied by Legal & General. Including a meal and drinks at the Manchester Suite.
• The fixture is the last Premier League game of the season against Blackpool on 22 May.
• To qualify affiliates must have generated at least 5 valid sales in November

Launch Competition 2 – 10% extra commission. The affiliate that achieves the largest % of combined (buildings and contents) policies during November (compared to September), will be awarded 10% EXTRA commission for all sales generated in November. So, if you win and do 10 sales in November and earn £550 commission, we’ll give you a bonus of £55!
• To qualify affiliates must have generated at least 5 valid sales in November

Conditions for the launch competitions:
• The competitions are open to all new and existing affiliates.
• Winners are judged on home insurance sales (essentials and extra) during November 2010. All sales must be tracked and validated by Legal & General and affiliates must use approval promotional copy and banners.
• Winners will be officially announced after November sales have been validated after the end of February.
• In the event of a tie, the affiliate with the largest sales volume will be judged the winner.
• Legal and General’s decision is final and the winners’ names will be announced and be available on request.
• No cash alternative will be offered.

Home insurance affiliate programme commission rates
Standard affiliate commission:
• £55 per valid applications
Incentive sites:
• Incentive sites will receive £50 per valid application for a joint (buildings and contents) policy or £25 for a single (e.g. contents only) policy
