Punk Legend, style icon and sweetheart of classic CBGB's punk scene of the mid 70s, Debbie Harry has influenced music and fashion for the past 35 years. Harry fronted the band Blondie, who has a string of international hits and made some seminal videos that further increased the band's notoriety. 'Heart of Glass' became the band's first US number one and the supporting video featured the band performing at the legendary studio 54. Harry was photographed wearing this seashell dress in New Orleans on the Blondie U.S Tour in the summer of 1979.

This photo of vocalist and guitarist Chrissie Hynde was taken in 1980, the year of The Pretenders' self titled debut album. Tragedy struck shortly after their second album, as The Pretenders lost both their bassist and guitarist to drug overdoses within the space of a single year. Hynde kept the band together, and now continues to entertain the masses as well as being a key supporter of PETA against animal cruelty. 'It's a Pirate's Life' was a single released by Euro rockers La Seine in 1976, on their debut album 'Like a River.
