Natoora - Just Peachy: Flat Peaches now in season

Flat Peaches - fresh in and at their 'In Season' price of just £3.95/500g

These unusual peaches are incredibly sweet. Inside their thin skin is a white flesh, loaded with sugar and with hints of almond flavour. They might appear to be a mutant version of round peaches, but in fact, flat peaches have been around for centuries in China, and more recently grown in Europe. We get ours from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy where the natural sunshine makes them wonderfully sweet, plump and juicy.

Their sugar content makes them ideal for glazing, sautéeing in butter and brown sugar, or simply baking. Of course our favourite way to enjoy them is purely as they are.
