It's a busy time of year for us at Urban Allotments, not just because it is Christmas, but because it is fruit tree and bush planting time. We've chosen some particularly cool ones this year, Goji berries (not just a superfood, they make a good hedge too!), figs which grow well in pots, we've even found an outside grapevine which tastes of strawberries! prices range from £10 for raspberries to about £30 for dwarf fruit trees for balconies and patios.
