Hello All,

It's that time of year again where the chubby bearded fella (no not me!) don's his red outfit, gets out his sack and everybody goes crazy buying gifts. So, in time honoured tradition (the start of October) we've launched our big Christmas plans. Things to look out for....

1) Competition

We have amassed an array of great prizes to give away this Christmas.

We are looking to give away over a whopping £1500 worth of prizes to our affiliates for a number of categories. The prizes we want to give to you are:

• PV1 Memory Frame
• Chelsea Football Table
• X-UFO
• An Experience under £200 of the winners choice
• High Back Leather Beanbag
• Northstar Telescope
• Optima Traditional 4 Person Picnic Basket
• Barbados Hammock
• Chocolate Fountain
• Electric Grill

To make this fair to all of our affiliates we are going to give prizes away for the following categories:

• Total Commission Generated
• Most Sales Generated (if same person will go to second place etc)
• Best New Affiliate
• Home Page Link. Put a link/some creative on your home page for Oct/Nov/Dec and you'll go into a draw for a prize (email us to enter)
• Most Improved Affiliate
• Best Page using Prezzybox.com Creative (email us to enter)
• Biggest Single Commission
• Chocolate Fountain Competition. Whoever gets highest in Google for 2 weeks in November/December for the phrase Chocolate Fountain will win a prize (email us to enter)
• Surprise Category
• Surprise Category

Prizes are in no particular order and will given for the performance in October, November and December.

2) Creative

We've put together a raft of Christmas creative - including banners, content units, Gift Wizard dynamic boxes, search boxes and much much more.

We have created a variety of new Content Units in a host of different sizes for use on you site. Each content unit incorporates a Christmas feel and a working search bar or gift wizard.

We have included a good range of products from what we expect to be our top Christmas sellers based on past and recent sales history.

Gift Wizard Search Boxes

We have again produced some our our great Christmas gift wizards and search boxes which you can use on your own websites.

This form of creative is always very popular as it adds a unique feature to your site and allows your users to search for specific items or find the perfect Christmas gift in a hurry!

They come in a variety of sizes and so can be placed anywhere on your site to add value to your pages.

Product Banners

We have recently created a variety of individual product banners that you can use to promote some of our top sellers on your website. Our top 10 sellers have been recreated in banner form and come in two popular sizes of 468 x 60 and 120 x 120.

These have been specifically picked and created due to their potential and current sales performance and so are tailored to help you earn as much commission as possible!

Anything Else?

All of the creative can be found on both AWIN and POR and is ingeniously entitled Christmas and then what it is (for example Christmas Gift Wizard Search Box).

If there is anything you'd like us to create specifically for your site - be it a certain size, colour, with your logo or whatever, then please let us know and we'll get straight on to it.

3) Gift Vouchers for your users and Landing Pages

From now until December we are happy to give you a branded £5 gift voucher which you can pass on to your users. This will entitle them to £5 off EVERY order they place. We can also link this in with a landing page which has been working pretty well for a number of affiliates. For example:

4) Affiliate Resource Centre (ARC)

We've recently launched the ARC and it is jam packed full of great features to assist Affiliates. You can download best sellers reports, check out all of our latest creative, down load datafeeds and much more. It really has proved to be a useful tool for those that have registered with it.

7) Customer Base and Sister Sites

With Paid On Results we have a customer based programme. In short this means that you will get commission for EVERY sale whether there is a cookie or not. Click here for further information.

We've got 3 sister sites - www.itsmustard.com (gadgets), www.thedesignerbox.co.uk (designer homewares) and www.gardenbliss.co.uk (garden items) all of which are on the Prezzybox network on POR. So, if you are promoting Prezzybox then it might be worth promoting these 3 specialist sites too. Because they are programmes on the Prezzybox network you will be credited if the users is an existing customer of any of the sites under the Prezzybox umbrella.

Thanks for your kind words! I can't take much of the praise to be honest - It's mainly Ben and Bianca (our designers) who do most of the hard work - I'm just the mouthpiece!! (and obviously the face of the company )

The content units are on AWIN under the Dynamic Category and are called things like Christmas Content Unit, Christmas Content Unit (full size) etc.

They will be on POR in the next day or so (Graeme assures me!). They should either be featured under 'Christmas 2005' or under the 'interactive elements category'.

As soon as they are live I'll let you know.

The next day or so... eeeh that's not very good now is it... typical merchants slow with their christmas stuff....

On POR your product feed says it last updated 10/08/2005 22:53 - is this right? or is up to date?

The datafeed exports to POR everyday (at 6.11am to be precise).

So I'll investigate that one and come back to you. There could be a problem in the file, or the import or the update could be telling porkies! Either way I'll get back to you and let you know.

Jason, Zak - yeah slight problem this end, its been fixed now, we now have and will continue to have the latest feed from Prezzy Box. The Content Units goes live later today - they will be found as normal within the Content Units part of the Control Panel.

Also remember with our Content Units not only can you fully customise them but also as we head towards Christmas and the hot products of the year start to sell out, Prezzy Box can update everyone's Content Units without any work for Affiliates.

Plus if anyone is interested in a full page Content with the top 10 or 20 products from Prezzy Box, let me know and I can work with Zak to get some nice full page Content created.

And don't forget with Paid On Results - Products On Request, you can create your own content within minutes. Your Content will never go out of date, changes made by the Merchant are reflected in your Content, with no additional work.

The above Content took me about 5 minutes to create - the above design is basic, you can create any design you like, use your favourite design program to create the look using dummy data and then just copy and paste the code into Products On Request, replace the dummy data with our product tags, configure the products and away you go. Oh if you think it is impressive now, wait until the next upgrade
