    I've done a little digging on Steve333 and leads-2-us.com, whose recent forum spam has really annoyed me.

    This is what I've found out. They don't offer IVA's, Trust Deeds or Debt Management plans, they sell these leads at an average price of £450 each as ready to go packaged deals via their many websites such as Home

    They run a large network of sites all around the same basic business model.

    Here's a few examples from their sites - this is by no means complete and accurate research, but it gives a good idea of how they operate.

    Sincere apologies - Paul N is not one of our busier HM's and I'm surprised that he hasn't responded. Please PM me with your real name (or whichever name you used on your application) and I will chase him up for you.

    It would be most helpful if anyone who experiences similar problems could let me know - we do try and provide a response within a day or so but sometimes our HM's may be on vacation or whatever. Clearly this is not the case here, and I know for a fact that Paul N is around and at home at the moment.

    Alhough encouraging others to post about poor responses from my HM's is a little like shooting myself in the foot in that I'm asking for bad publicity, it's only with feedback like this that I can keep tabs on any issues we may have. I know that one HM changed his email address earlier this year without updating us and as a result many new student applications went to his old address. Without someone kicking up a fuss, either on here or by email/PM, we would never have known about it and the problem would have gone unresolved.

    I also know that we should be perfect, but it appears that although I am perfect myself, some of my HM's are apparently capable of failure and mistakes. Please rest assured that they will be shot if it happens more than once

    And by the way, I'm never busy - that's why I have the HM's, so that I can concentrate on relaxing!

    I know this idea may seem radical. Maybe even futuristic... But relying on email for user aplications is maybe not the best idea. I've heard about this new technology being developed in the US by NASA or something. Called "Databases". Couple that with some of the *amazing* cgi/scripting technology just coming out, and you can get signups, put them in a database, track them properly, and never loose any of them at all!

    Amazingly all the other networks do this already! Who'd have imagined it...

    I need IVA and Debt Management leads

    I represent a firm of Insolvency Practitioners and Debt Adjusters based in Leeds, Manchester, Bolton and Blackburn.

    We are looking for bring on new affiliates to our existing merchant programme.

    Leads can be tracked online in real-time. All leads are contacted within 1 hour of submission over the net. We have a signup rate of customer passing creditors meetings standing at 92%. This is where a lead has been converted, seen and has reached a creditors meeting. those that do not qualify, we cross sell to Debt Management.

    We pay on the 1st and 15th of each month by bacs.

    What Can We Offer You?

    We have 3 ways of payment -

    1. Short form - Use our short form code and leads are tracked online in real time. Perhaps put some dummy numbers in there to see how hard we chase your leads. Payment can be per lead or per conversion.

    Short Form Debt Management Lead £5.00
    Short Form IVA Lead (Debt over 15k - 3 creditors -and confirmed when called) £15.00

    2. Long form - use the long form code as above. I must stress our systems allows use to e-mail, text, call and mailshot these leads. Nobody will work these leads harder than us!

    Long form Debt Management Lead £10.00
    Long Form IVA Lead (debt over 15k - 3 creditors) £40.00

    3. Payment per conversion (If you know your leads are of a high standard we pay away upto 50% of all fees we make).

    Debt Management - £50% of agreement Fee or £75.00 whichever is the greater

    IVA - £50% of Nominee Fees or £450.00 whichever is the greater

    Thanks for the sarcastic suggestion, but this just won't work for us. Unlike other networks, our "staff" are our Headmasters, and as such they individually approve and sign up students, rather than just approving everyone willy-nilly. This means that we can control quality and avoid signing up Indian Call centres, Chinese spammers and the like - again unlike other networks. The Headmasters also then have a personal tutoring responsibility for each of their students, which is based on communication by telephone. IM, email, and the use of our private forum, to which only registered students are granted access.

    As you can see, the way we operate our business is unlike any other network, which is why the solutions that other networks employ are not apropriate to our needs. It's also why we have the lion's share of the market sectors in which we operate. We work on a quality rather than quantity approach.

    Next time you jump to write such a sarcasm loaded post Axod, just ask yourself if you know enough about the subject first - it may save you from getting even more egg on your face than you already have. Most people learn from their mistakes, but it seems that you just keep making the same ones again and again.

    So... erm.. it won't work because your 'staff' are 'headmasters'. Yeah I can see that them having a different 'job title' would prevent them from using a web based approval system rather than an email based one.
    I think you're confusing 'system' with 'method'. I was suggesting that using email as a reliable transport mechanism is fundamentally flawed. I was not suggesting you change your system, only your method.
    Heck just install a bog standard webmail app and have your headmasters access that, with their own 'school' email to ensure applications get to where they should.
