If it is a promotion you are posting here, please could you post in the relevant network section pertaining to your program

Ideally we would like to keep this one clear for merchants / networks running incentives & prizes for affiliates.

so, paul, just to clarify: for customer promotions, we all use only the network forums - for affiliate incentives this one, is that correct?

How about an additional forum for end user promotions, like that list that used to exist where we were uploading vouchers & promotions with expiry dates etc, which I believe some affiliates found it very useful? We could syndicate the network blogs' relevant categories in there as well maybe?

The description of the forum in the list says:
Ggeneral and exclusive merchant promotions across all networks - special offers, discount codes and tips for increased sales.

If Hero's interpretation is correct, then this will need updating I would have thought.

Hero, I think you are correct.

I think you are correct that we need specific sections, it's mutually agreeing the best format.

There are affiliates who do well from voucher / discount codes & those (including myself) who maybe haven't made the most of of these opportunities.

Would a single point of reference called maybe "Voucher Codes" for all to post in be suitable for you.

Until agreement is reached, Matt made the ultimate decision, the idea was maybe to keep affiliate incentives in here (ie where they win prizes) simply because it's easier to have a single resource & often there are affiliate incentives / competitions which do go unnoticed or over-looked, for example one we came 2nd and won £750 with Just Socca, I was a late entry & found out about it on the Golf Day you had, now yes this was communicated but I had overlooked it, when on the forum I probably would have taken more notice. If you wish to place in your forum section as well that is fine until we have a concrete format. Especially where a merchant has gone to the effort / generosity to put forward a prize & maybe doesn't see incremental sales due to lack of awareness. I am already finding out some too late in the day to consider.

What may help in the interim is to title the thread more appropiately so it says exactly what it does on the tin. WIN, Affiliate Competition & so forth. Re Consumer Competitions perhaps a new one for this where all can pitch in. Again thread title says a lot.

So for affiliate incentives preferably use this one. For general program news, new programs, commission changes please use the dedicated network forum until restructuring has been resolved & determined.
