Yep - in time honoured tradition we’ve dusted down the garlands, got out the tinsel and fairy lights and launched our Big Christmas Promo.

Competition

We’re running a HUGE Christmas promotion which warrants its own thread. We'll be posting details later this week of how you can win a trip to a glorious 5 Star Hotel in Dubai or a Skiing Holiday amongst other great prizes.

Creative

As always, our design and techy team have come up trumps and produced some great creative which is suitably festive. As well as the usual content units and gift wizard selection boxes, there’s festive page peels and Christmassy ‘Vidibox’ Video Content Units.

Page Peels

Pretty neat aren’t they!! We’ve got a couple of page peels. The first has a generic voucher code which will allow your users to get £5 off all orders over £20. The second can be used by sites that have their own voucher code and will hopefully entice your users to shop with Prezzybox and use their voucher code which is exclusive to your store.

Vidibox Video Content Units

Our collection of Vidiboxes is getting forever bigger and here are some of our new ones. We’ve made them all Christmassy and they come in a plethora of different sizes.

All of the creative can be found on our networks AWIN and POR under names that make sense. For example the vidiboxes are called things like "New Vidibox for Gamucci Cigarette width 250". I have added to a couple of sites works like a dream, not sure how i check the aff codes work

I have checked that they are tracking through our dummy affiliate accounts on both networks (they seem too!) but I have formatted the links like this:

POR: http://www.paidonresults.net/c/AFFILIATEID/1/10/0

These are standard links but the AFFILIATEID will be replaced with whatever you type in on the code generator page.

If anyone see any problem with the links above then please just let me know because I want to get them working perfectly from the start.

That's fantastic, especially the £5 page peel. Though when I type in my four digit POR affiliate code into the tool it adds a 2 to the beginning when testing the click. Is this okay and still trackable too me?

No the added 2 was an error from when we had an example affiliate ID in there for testing. I changed that this morning though so it shouldn't be doing it anymore?

Thanks Ben just cleared my cookies and the additional 2 is now gone. Notice the landing page has no mention of the free £5 though. Does the discount code automatically appear at the check out.

Thats actually a great idea Jock and one we really should of thought of!

I have since amended the backend code so that if you pick a voucher offer page peel it will deep link using your affiliate tracking to a landing page with a banner on and the voucher code emphasised again:
Welcome to Prezzybox.com. Get £5 off EVERY order over £20 this Christmas!!

This should hopefully improve conversion and help the end user when it comes to using the voucher code.
