Our users
People use our site for two main reasons:
• Entertainment
• To save money on gadgets, fashion, travel and short breaks
That’s two areas that might stay reasonably intact in the current economic climate.

Potential
Our users have mainly come from Offline promotions.
That means there is a potentially big gap for affiliates to deliver new users from Online marketing.

What we do
We run Sealed Bid auctions in 2 areas – low and high bids.

In the Low Bid auction, the lowest UNIQUE bid wins and gets to buy at the bid price.
This is often Very Low.

In the High Bid auction, the highest bid wins and gets to buy at the bid price.
This is always at a discount to full price, because people only bid what they are willing to pay, which of course is not the full price !

Who we are
Auctionair has been running since 2003 when it provided in-flight entertainment for BA passengers. We have run white label auction sites for the Times, Computer Active and various charities including the British Legion. ( None of these are affiliates ).

Commission Structure
£1 for a new bidder who makes a free bid.
+ £5 when they make their first paying bid in the High Bid auction.
+ £2 when they make their first paying bid in the Low Bid auction.
+ 15% of their entry fees.
+ 2% of any Buy it Now purchases they make

All on a 60 day cookie.

How to attract your users with our auctions...

One of the most effective ways of gaining interest is to quote some of our results from the Low Bid auctions, so here's a few.

These prices were the lowest UNIQUE bids (in whole £) made by entrants. So for the iPod Touch, all the bids up to and including £31 had more than one bidder but £32 only had one bidder, so that was the lowest unique bid; so they Won and got to buy at that price.
