I'm getting sales validated in the OMG reports, but am not being paid commissions by the merchant.

I expect some sales to be dropped through duplicate orders, etc, but I'm finding certain merchants are especially bad for not paying commissions on tracked sales.

Even worse, contacting OMG results in nothing more than a generic "we're looking into it" - when they eventually reply.

Providers I'm especially having problems with:

    Kwik Fit
    Marks & Spencer
    HSBC
    Hiscox

I'm getting really frustrated with OMG - I am doing especially well with programs at Buy.at and wish OMG could show a similar level of customer support.

Would also be nice if companies such as Kwik Fit could be made to explain how multiple sales over the past few months should not result in commissions.

Are you sure these are actual sales? Kwikfit in particular display raw enquiries as 'unvalidated sales' and the number that actually do end up as commission paying sales is a very small percentage. I dropped them ages ago, in fact, because their entries were making my stats much more difficult to interpret.

I've dealt with OMG for years, they're the most helpful and quickest paying network of the lot, IMO.

The transactions are certainly presented as valid sales - but OMG's silence on the issue when I query them is frustrating.

I used to really like OMG, but now that my affiliate sales have been increasing, I've been very disturbed by the lack of information and communication on sales not awarded a commission - especially as the number of non-commission sales are really starting to ramp up - and always with the same providers.

Absolutely no problems with Churchill or Direct Line, who appear to be running especially well on OMG.

Just received a reply to an earlier support ticket - apparently at least one of the sales has finally been validated after 3 monmths, and an invoice raised this week.

May just be an issue of patience being required for some merchants at least to validate sales, though it would have been nice if OMG had been able to communicate faster on the issue - though appreciate sometimes affiliate managers take their sweet time to reply to anything which may have slowed down OMG.

Churchill and Direct Line use Atlas tracking which was a pain in the %^&*$ when it was first introduced but has been wonderful since. They are fast payers too.

Sadly some merchants are not as efficient and this is a major point that needs to be considered when deciding whether or not to promote them. Personally I don't intend to wait weeks before finding out whether or not sales have validated, I can't run an efficient business that way. If these merchants want us to support them they need to get their houses in order.

It's not fair to blame OMG though, some merchants, and the marketing companies that handle their accounts have still got a lot to learn and although the good networks try to educate them it can be an uphill task

    Hi iBrian,

Thanks for your posts and I am sorry that you've experienced issues with delayed payments from some of our merchants.

Of course we are keen to resolve any payment issues as soon as possible, and I will contact you via PM to get some further detail in order that we can progress this for you.

    Thanks,
