The new Freedom Prepaid MasterCard gives customers the option between a Standard Limit Card (No ID required) and a Higher Limit Card (Basic ID required). Consumers can always upgrade their Freedom card to have higher limits at any time within 12 months of activating the card with no cost by simply going on to the "My Account" area and clicking on “upgrade card”.

The standard limit (No ID required) offers customers:
• £1650 maximum load value over 12 months
• £650 cash access

The higher limit (Basic ID required) offers customers:
• £5000 reloadable
• £5000 cash access
