Hi guys and gals, it's my first post on here so please... be gentle!

I've recently started as Affiliate and Online Media Manager representing the high street jewellery retailers H.Samuel and Ernest Jones. www.hsamuel.co.uk is about a year old now and has been growing steadily but for Ernest Jones it's our first Christmas with a fully transactional website and we're already seeing some great sales and high value transactions going through.

Very similar offers for both brands but very different products and audiences. H.Samuel will drive more volume in the run up to Christmas but it's worth remembering that Christmas is also the most popular time of year for people to get engaged and Ernest Jones should drive a much higher ATV.

Offers at H.Samuel this year...

1) Voucher offers

This year we have some fantastic voucher offers for H. Samuel which should really help drive conversion… and the best bit? Online vouchers cannot be redeemed in-store, only online, but store vouchers can also be redeemed online so there’s no danger of driving traffic in-store with the voucher.

How do we go about getting the codes for both programs?

Hi Mark,

The voucher codes are unique and generated on the order confirmation page when the customer places an order. We also email the voucher code to the customer seperately.

All,

We've managed to push back the last order time by another 2 hours on orders placed for store collection from either H.Samuel or Ernest Jones. The cut off time will now be 4pm on Friday 22nd and not 2pm as previously stated, so customers can leave it even later to do their Xmas shopping!!
