RAC Car insurance is pleased to announce a fantastic incentive during May to win a case of wine, Amazon vouchers or travel vouchers.


In order to be eligible for these great prizes all you need to do is sell, sell sell!

  • All affiliates that achieve over 10 sales in May will receive a case of wine
  • The best improved affiliate in terms of sales, April compared to May, will receive £100 of Amazon vouchers
  • The affiliate who achieves the most sales in May will win £300 travel vouchers


This is the perfect opportunity to get on board with RAC Car Insurance as there are many exciting developments happening with the program and product throughout 2007:


  • A monthly payment option will soon be live online, helping to ensure customers complete their purchase 'in session'.
  • The overall conversion rate (Quote to Sale) for online activity has doubled since the end of last year on non-aggregator activity. For affiliates we have seen an increase in line with this with the Quote to Sale CR increasing from 2.6% in April 06 to 4.6% for April 07.
  • RAC recently ran a week of 10% discounts on all our car insurance prices to test the impact on conversion. This discount wasn't advertised to the public and the results were encouraging so they plan to have more of these discount weeks throughout the year and in future will let affiliates have prior knowledge and supply relevant creative.
  • The affiliate landing page has been updated. The 'best of breed' landing page with no phone number is live and is out performing the previous page in terms of leakage.
  • There is the opportunity for affiliates to have unique telephone numbers in the near future. This will allow you to have telephone sales tracked which is great news as the current RAC Car call centre quote to sale conversion rate runs at around 40%.
