Could this site have any more opportunities for leakage

Links to loan companies, insurance companies, other websites in the group (and even affiliate ads for BT Broadband) not to mention a phone number plastered all over the site - it's got so many leaks it must be run by Thames Water.

Sorry but as it stands it's a no no for me - unless they can create a site for affiliates without the opportunities for leakage.

Even then £60 for a new car sale is very very low - I have some car manufacturers paying me £20+ just for a brochure request and £50+ for a test drive.

We are currently at the stage of discussing possible changes with the merchant to make the website more ‘affiliate friendly’. Why let the merchant launch the affiliate program with so many leaks?

Hi Mogga,

Thank you for your message.

We have launched this merchant’s campaign as we believe that it has a lot of potential to be successful and beneficial for the affiliates in the future. I do understand the concerns about the current look of the website but as I said before the merchant is keen to upgrade the site and make it more ‘affiliate friendly’.

We have had confirmation from the merchant that they will be removing the telephone number from the site and they are also intending to offer unique telephone numbers for the top performing affiliates. The merchant is also working on creating a separate landing page for the purpose of affiliate campaign with no advertisements or tabs to other products on it, to resolve the problem of leakage.

We will of course keep all affiliates updated on the progress of these changes and want to reassure you that both OMG and the merchant are working hard to make this campaign a success for all involved.
