Unfortunately, with the move to OMG, these brands are not worth promoting. The third party atlas tracking has sucked the living daylights out of the affiliate conversion on these products.

Sales are being attributed somewhere, my guess is that rbs are completeing the process over the phone thus taking the commission away from the affiliate. I dont think they took phone completed sales away from affiliates before, maybe atlas is better at identifying this.

As we know, some merchants deliberately complete orders over the phone to avoid aff commissions, I have been phoned up before from a companies customers service department just asking me if I wanted what I had just ordered, The moment I say yes! thats it... commission gone. I've had john Lewis tell me that my credit card has been declined and they cannot process my order unless I phone customer services, but majically, when I email them to tell them not to bother... I'm told its already been despatched.

I'm not saying that RBS are deliberately avoiding attributing commissions to the right place, but Atlas is finding a way to award it elsewhere.

I think OMG have been very suprised at the total destruction of the conversion rate for churchill in particular, but now, several months down the line, nothing is changing. Some affiliates have put a figure of 80% reduction in conversion - this cannot be right.

Up until a couple of months ago I put 100% of my effort into OMG's product line but now all my plans point elsewhere. I'm really sorry to be saying that because they are great people to work with but I have to give priority to earning a living. I have been told that the reason for the switch to Atlas tracking was that RBS had been paying out commissions several times over for each sale in the past; this strikes me as rank incompetence on their part so I can hardly be expected to have confidence in the tracking system they have now imposed on OMG. I'm very seriously considering taking down all my Atlas-tracked products, there's no point in creating sales when I'm not confident that I'll be paid for them whilst there are local insurance agents who will pay well for the leads I'm producing and I would rather have part of the cake than none. I hope OMG sorts this out quickly, I will move away from them with the utmost reluctance but I can't carry on like this.
