Direct Line for Business – Van Insurance launch. Earn £100 per policy.

Direct Line is pleased to announce the launch of a further exciting new business insurance product under the sub-brand Direct Line for Business: Van insurance.

Direct for Direct Line offers a range of discounts and product innovations that are aimed at achieving one thing – bringing down the cost of van insurance. These include:
  • Named Driver No Claims Discount
  • Matched No Claims Discount
  • Multi-van Discount
  • Breakdown Multi-van Discount

It’s all a fantastic reward for safer driving...

What’s more, if a quote is accepted by 30th September 2008, Direct Line promises not to increase your price next year. Commission will paid at an introductory rate of £100 per sale.

In addition to the launch of Van Insurance, other products in current portfolio of Direct Line for Business products have a commission increase. The commissions from 1st September are as follows;
  • Van Insurance - £100
  • Tradesman - £85
  • Office - £85
  • Residential - £70
  • Commercial - £130
  • Business form Home - £60

A further two products have also been added to the existing suite of products already available under the Direct Line for Business brand and will soon be made available on the programme so watch this space for further updates:

Hotel insurance
This policy is designed for small hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfast accommodation. Our preferred businesses include city-based hotels, restaurants, guest houses and country hotels.

Pub & Restaurant
This policy is designed for pubs, wine bars, social clubs and restaurants. The key business types to target are single premises, typically in towns or country pubs, gastro pubs (without nightclubs).

Commissions will be:
Hotel insurance = £120 per sale
Pub & Restaurant = £100 per sale
