When do OMG stats update?

We are exposing ourselves by heavily promoting OMG merchants and are concerned that the conversions could be poor, if the stats were a little more current it would really help our confidence.

When do the various merchants supply the stats? If we knew that for example Asda Car Insurance was weekly and Virgin Loans was on the 15th of the following month etc then we could push OMG merchants more.

Please can someone supply a comprehensive list here of merchant update dates? If some are 6 weeks (most of ours seem to have not updated for August yet), it puts a lot of risk on the affiliate, is this being looked at?

OMG post stats when they get em, some are quick, some are slow,

this leaves you with only a couple of choices,

A) change a couple of links over so you aren't sending all your traffic,

B) use something like hypertracker.com and pop 2 urls in the field and it will cycle them so you get an even spread, 1 click to your existing merchant and 1 to omg's

C) slap the link up towards the end of a month and then revert back to your exisiting links till the stats are in.

not ideal but better than not trying them at all I suppose.

OMG are aware of the need for more detailed and up to date tracking of some kind, and have recently made a leap forward with the daily clicks etc so if the sales data was only daily, or worse weekly then that would give most of us a greater incentive to use / trial merchants with them.

Tyson's dragged them a long way forward in the last 18months/2years but he and they are aware they not there yet tracking wise

I can appreciate the need to know when stats are being updated. We have a new affiliate client area going live in about 2 weeks time which will show the reporting cycle for each merchant.

howabout the money total telling us what we are getting in our next cheque? i never saw the point in a total of all earnings that year. Youd normally be looking for wots on its way..right?....
