Thank you for your comments regarding First Plus.

We did identify in the title of the posting that the commission for First Plus would be based on an accepted application but apologies if I did not specify in sufficient detail, within the posting, what is classed as an accepted application.

To clarify, an accepted application is a submitted application form in which the applicant meets the appropriate criteria set by First Plus. This criteria specifies that for an applicant to be successful they must be a home owner and have no adverse credit or CCJs.

i think what the folk above mean, is what is the sitation where the loan is approved by firstplus, but the applicant has perhaps applied to more than one lender and chooses the other one (better rates maybe?)

this according to the above is still an accepted application. is this correct?

Hi Matty,

You are absolutely right in highlighting that this would still class as an accepted application. This programme is not paying out on a sale basis and therefore the applicant's decision to take out a First Plus secured loan after submitting their application will not affect affiliates' validation status.
