This Saturday 26th April, Plan UK (in association with the Guardian) will feature an 8 page newspaper supplement. The feature will focus around the topical issue of Disaster Risk Reduction; the implications of disasters for communities and children in the developing world, and detail the work being done in partnership with these communities around reducing the impact.
Some of the other things the supplement will be focusing on are:
- Sponsor and child meet 15 years on (based on interview with/visit report written by sponsor)
- Advertorial on Plan and Child Sponsorship
- Advertorial on Planet
- Sponsorship advert
In addition to the supplement, launching at the same time an online element will run on the Guardian site for 6 weeks (until 5th June). Plan UK will gain wide exposure throughout this period via run of Guardian site co-branded traffic drivers & microsite ads.
This is a great opportunity for affiliates to capitalise on. Plan UK’s online presence will be dramatically increased over the next 6 weeks and we anticipate this will result in significant levels of online sponsor recruitment.
