RBS Insurance - Atlas tracking and Payment information
Following the migration of the RBS insurance programmes to run exclusively on the OMG network in December 2007 it was recognised that there was a noticeable drop in conversion rate. This was attributed to the de-duplication by Atlas across online channels. We have been listening to affiliate feedback regarding this and as a result carried out detailed investigations as to how the programme is performing, reporting and tracking. We have been working closely with Atlas and RBS insurance over the last few months to resolve any concerns that have been raised.
Whilst the de-duplication across Atlas channel has been responsible for a reduction it has also masked another issue. Our investigations have identified that there have been instances where Atlas has recorded sales attributed to OMG affiliates which have not been reported correctly. All affiliate sales have been accurately tracked; however, there have been instances where the import of sales from Atlas to the OMG interface has been incomplete.
We have been working closely with RBS Insurance to resolve this situation and have been able to recover all of the sales information for this period manually from the tracking logs. We have been busy pulling all of the data together and agreeing the final details with RBS Insurance and Atlas. We have also agreed a new process that has been put in place to ensure these sales are reported on a day by day basis going forward.
We are pleased to say that all sales generated in this time will be honoured. Affiliates will be paid full commission for these sales at the correct commission rate at the time the sale was generated.
We will be adding these transactions to affiliate accounts by the end of this week which means an increase in sales, commission and conversion rate. Going forwards these sales will automatically show in your affiliate accounts as normal as part of a daily import.
We are confident that this means that all reporting issues on the campaign are now resolved and that the outstanding sales will be assigned to your account shortly.
