Re: Protect Pet - Any Sales????

Hi,

Well done on getting the 120 transactions. I got thirty and 1 sale, rest rejected.

The reason I was sort of given was that I maybe of targeting the budget kind of insurance and not this expensive insurance.

Dropped program like lead balloon, 5 sales off 120 transactions is poor,

You just need to filter them 120 transactions to a better provider.

Dear affiliates,

I appreciate your concerns regarding the conversion of the programme. This is something we're very aware of and we're working hard behind the scenes to improve with a number of initiatives in the pipeline.

At the moment, we are reluctant to take off the phone number knowing that we pay commission for sales completed offline provided the user requests a quote online first.

In terms of reporting, the fact that we track conversion over the phone means that for each quote completed, you will see a TT (total transaction) in your OMG dashboard. TT's are not sales but quotes. Only completed sales are marked as Validated Transaction, which is confusing, I must admit. When quotes (TT) do not convert, they are rejected. This doesn't mean that sales are rejected, just that quotes haven't converted into a sale.

I would like to invite you to enter direct communication with me or your OMG account manager should you wish to discuss further.

In the meantime, I'd like to assure you that we're working towards improvement of the campaign and I am confident we'll make it successful.

Re: Protect Pet - Any Sales????

A system that shows us quotes in our logs instead of sales, validated or not, is a pain for those of us who check our logs regularly. I dropped quikfit insurance for the same reason some time ago for the same reason, I had to wade through shoals of "transactions" which were not transactions at all and it not only irritated me but caused me to drop a programme I had made some sales on - not enough to justify the annoyance but enough for me to have kept the product onboard if a better reporting system had been used.
