I think he was asking for experiences of using dating sites, and I say go for it, especially if it takes some of your time away from posting on here.

So would you say that 'the harder the niche the easier it is to promote' is true for all sectors or just dating. I think this is an oxymoron of sorts, unless of course there is a new meaning for the word 'hard' that I am yet to be down with, such as bad meaning good.

well to compete in dating you will need a huge marketing budget. But as an affiliate trying to make some easy money dating is one of the easiest niches to get into. Just dont start ur own dating site.

I agree with you. Huge budget should be invested for an online dating site but it is one of the most profitable affiliate programs nowadays. You'll gain more profit if you know how to effectively promote your niche.

Some of my friends tried online dating and I believe it is an interesting matter especially to singles. It is a trend today meeting partners over the internet. So yes, if you're to pursue such program, you're never far to success.

I had really bad experience with it

I registered a dating site and then my mailbox was flooded with almost all non-sense mails !! and since then I didn't registered any other dating site with my real id

I think it's just a phase. You will find very fast possible partners. But you will have to take it out in the real world. So some chat and if you like it go for a date.

It's like any business you need to find a unique way of promoting your website. Think of more local words that may help you in the search engines. Dating sites are hard work more so the love and relationship dating sites. I have one and have had it for 5 years and to be honest it has not earned me a lot of money in 5 years, yet I have adult dating sites as in sexual relationships in many niches and they earn a lot more money. I am not suggesting that you go down that route if you are not comfortable doing so,but what I do know is that people will part with their money a lot lot quicker from my experience if the site has adult sexual overtones. Now if you are good with the press you could also put up a poll on your site something to do with the theme of your site and once all the results are in you could send it off to the local press, sometimes they may say local dating site blah blah blah has revealed blah blah blah use the press if you can and remember that ofline promotion can also help.

I guess the paid ones don't always ensure better people, losers are everywhere. But I guess it's worth a try, and if you find more of them, just ignore them.

I would say the free dating sites arent very good and you will get a lot of fake ppls on there. The pay ones will be better as you have to pay to go on for a start! Dont take them all to seriously!

Nonsense some people think because they have paid they can treat you anyway they like. You'll still get assholes on both types of sites some times (note I said some times) just a bigger one who has money and can afford to pay.
