some interesting changes this time round, with a lot of sites losing 1 point in "toolbar" PR.

Strange though - on one of our sites its saying its now indexed 154 pages instead of 84 on google.com but in the results at the bottom of the page its still only showing the original 84

Just been to one of our sites - lots of pages seem to be PR2 or PR3 if I use the toolbar yet according to the index google hasn't indexed them yet! - I assume google must be well and truly dancing dancing dancing!

Google has given me a pr4..site was only launched a couple of months ago.

Anyone else found pr begining to sort out????

I got same thing. 2 months old and PR4... Google slung another 50 pages in to the Index last night. annoyingly though it dropped some of my best traffic generating pages Lets hope the extra 50 pages pull their weight. Although they might come back as the number of index pages keeps changing.

i think i missed it.. damn

accidentally deleted the site a month ago and been missioning to get things finished for september - open it up properly yesterday to find google's already been over the old holding pages.. ah well now i've just got to bide my time..

I got a recent site listed in 3 days. I didn't think Google did much of a dance these days. Googe's task is to get their search engine as up to date as possible - not just once a month like in the good old days (last year!).

I've dropped a few PR points here and there too but it doesn't seem to have affected my positions too much thankfully.

I've seen changes in overall PR and the way its distributed through the sites from internal links.

The PR changes and SERP changes seem to be separate now with the serps changing followed by the visible changes in PR a few weeks later.

Its a strange new world....

I had a new site that I just got in on time - by the looks of it (the site has a date displayed) Google has cached a copy from Saturday. Looks like it's also deep crawled it as well.

Missey - I have found it possible to get a site listed within a couple of days.


Google seems to be using other means to find sites!!! i recently launched a new site but as it needed a bit of tidying testing etc i did not submit it to any search engines or give it any inbound links. So how did google find and index it??? my only theory is the toolbar!!

Has anyone else found this?
