Intermitant Adwords

Google seems to be speradically leaving out the adwords advertising today.

Done a couple of searches and only a few came with results featuring the adwords text.

I must say my heart jumped when I searched for 'car insurance' and nothing came up, I thought I was onto a winner but after refreshing 5-6 times the adwords appeared - then disappeared.

Anybody else got a problem with them? or noticed them randomly disappearing?

This could be related to something I've noticed to do with Google Adsense. On my site (and others I've looked at) Adsense has kept on displaying charity adverts instead of proper ones. It usually displays them on pages it hasn't crawled (and so doesn't know what adverts to display) and these ads don't earn us any money.

The strange thing is that if I hit refresh it sometimes shows charity ads and sometimes shows the proper ads, so something looks wrong.

If you've also noticed this with Adwords then it does look like they have a problem. I hope they sort it out soon as it's affecting earnings quite a lot!

I had a problem on one of my shopping co.uk sites and contacted google via their contact form on adsense.

My site was showing charity ads (would n't be so bad if they were uk based and American)


They responded asking for more details which i sent, ive heard nothing since, but my site is working since i sent those details page urls etc.

PS i mentioned that i had started removinf Adsense from my site, which may have helped focus their attention
