Google Directory starting to update

The Google Directory, the duplicate content they take from Dmoz.org LOL Has started to update today on the "ex" server reports Webmaster World. Should be interesting one as not happened for months and I suspect will upset a lot of current listings when it comes in to effect.

I think the directory will update first and then a few days later they will start a dance that will see last weeks backward links and PR change come in to effect a lot better than they have at present. Remember they are trying to sell Google come March so they will want it all to be working perfect pretty soon so the share price will be higher.

Something has been happeing for about a week. Some backlinks have returned but not all.

I have loads of PR 4 / 5 links that are not showing up, its a bit strange really. Hopefully it will all come out in the wash.

Rumours persist that they are making major changes to the PR algorithm. Fingers crossed
