Question Banking Google USD cheques... Exchange Rate

Are you banking your adsense cheques now when the USD rate at nearly 2$ to the pound or are you banking on the exchange rate decreasing?

Anyone have any insights?

Matthew.

Every report ive seen predicts $2+ for the future, so todays rate may seem good soon.

I dont gamble on exchange rate fluctuations and wouldnt recommend anyone does unless they know what they are doing.

Why not bank your adsense check now and then put 20% on the next Man Utd game - probably more sensible.

Heheh.. this is why I read the business pages of my paper now!

The dollar exchange rate is at a crisis point, especially with regards to the Yen. There's been quite a lot of intervention by central banks buying up dollars to try to raise the value and stabilise the exchange rate, but there are indications that they may not be prepared to carry on doing this and might choose to dump some of their dollar reserves.

In other words, your dollar check could suddenly become worth a lot less in the not-so-distant future. I'd hate to be reliant on US$ for my income at the moment!
