Has google left me?

Is this normal or have I been forgotten by Google?

I have sa ite that for many years Google has loved to pieces with virtually every page I put up on the site indexed within 2-3 days. To date Google lists just over 100,000 pages for this domain. However, something has changed…

I’ve added approx 20 articles over the past week (as I always do) and nothing! Nada, not even a Google spasm. Google just doesn’t want any more pages from me.

Is it possible to saturate the number of pages G will hold for you or did the content spider just feel like a little holiday and will be back after?

Just to clarify, there have been no changes to the site, it’s coding or anything for that matter other than the regular addition of fresh content.

I can still see that the google bot visits the site on a dialy basis and is almost permanently spidering my forums.

Any ideas anyone?

Yes, depending on the PR of your site Google will only index a certain number of pages, I expect if you want more pages included you'll need to go link hunting.

Urgh... really. I know it's an essential part but probably the thing i hate doing most.

Using digital points back link tracker for this site i've got the following...

4,900 backlinks to the main domian
additional 1,800 poining straight to the forums.

I did notice the other day that the PR in the google tool bar has dropped from 6 to 5. You think this is the cause?
