Past Adsense Clicks Changed?

On Wednesday this week I was very close to a "significant number" of clicks that was a daily record for me, but it was just under the nice round figure "target" that I've been aiming for...

However, I've checked my AdSense stats for the week, and the figure for Wednesday is now above this significant number! This suggests to me that past AdSense stats can be adjusted at a point in the future - but I'd not noticed this before.

Has anyone else experienced this "phenomenon"?

It might be worth printing out a page of the, and comparing it with the same printout made two or three days later...
