Google Analytics tracking errors
Just wanted to make people aware of a problem I have just had with google.
If you use google analytics in association with your adwords campaigns your destination url is appended with a google click id
ie. &gclid=kjsiburiedpaulkjhhkjhkjh
My destination urls objected to this and sent my clicks off to a random subdomain. This error does not become apparent until you click upon your own ad in the google search results. The error is not reproduced by clicking on your ad within the campaign manager. So remains un-noticed, in my case for two months (how stupid am I?).
These errors can be prevented, by not using google analytics :-)
