Well i probably will have to eat my own words but i dont think it is as major as people might think. The problem of 302 redirects etc they say are supposed to be solved as well as more agressive duplication filters etc. If that was true and of course the data centres quoted are an example of such then it is worse than before. We employ 302 redirects, for what as a valid reason simply as a redirect. Not caring whether we are banned or not doesnt make a blind bit of difference, though i dont see why we should change as its perfectly legit. Anyway, even with 302 redirects, duplicate content and all the rest we rank much better in the new data centre and i tested a few of our hosted sites and same sort of thing for things we know we shouldnt rank for when comparing them with other sites with a computer head on. Basic page scans purely on keywords with 4-8% ratio would of been a better algo than some results i have seen.
There will be some movers like normal but i cant see it being anything too harsh. I think if it is supposed to be big then this proposed data centre is not showing anything of the new algos.
