Don't know if anybody can explain this one to me.
I use a link program to generate link partners to one of my sites www.djs-solutions.co.uk. When it showed that a particular company was not linking back I sent a reminder to them. They replied back with if I put there link on a page that had a PR rating and was indexed by Google then they would recipricate links. I replied that that particular link page had a PR of 2 and that I thought it had been indexed to get a rating. They have said that although it has a PR rating it has not been indexed. Now I have been trying to find out what the difference is but have come to a dead end. Can anybody help I have obviously removed the other link partner as they do not even seem to have a PR rating but I am confused by the difference.
Dave
It looks indexed to me. I think you can check by typing site:www.djs-solutions.co.uk into the google search bar.
Google has a number of data centres though, and sometimes pages will appear to be indexed in one and not in another. Perhaps they checked one where you were not indexed (e.g. the big daddy ones where apparently things are dropping in and out at the moment)....
Yea thanks for that only I thought it was indexed but this guy who by the way was a .co.uk site said it wasn't so therefore I wondered what I was doing wrong
So it seems as though I was right then to say that my site is indexed and has a PR rating and the other guy who is obviously more intelegent than me cause he knew what he was looking for was wrong.
