Indexing redirect URLs?

Is it possible to get Google to index URL redirects?

I own studentconsolidationloans.co.uk and would like it to redirect to another domain I own, student-consolidation-loans.co.uk. What's the best way of redirecting to the latter address, and will Google index it?
