Why German

I started a blog about my second passion (online marketing and marketing in general being first, and don't ask where the girlfriend comes in :P)

my blog is: learnhowtodj.wordpress.com

currently I'm getting like 30-80 hits a day. too early to tell what the trend is as i only started it last month.

there are no affiliate links on the site, and really its just about DJing and DJ technology.

I did some back linking by putting it on one or two directory sites as well as putting it in signatures on various forums I'm a member of. Google has picked it up and is giving me hits for long-tail stuff to relevant to DJing and for some I'm 1st etc. I've got about 50 posts. And I haven't really concentrated on making it keyword strong, just writing relevant stuff.

BUT!!! I keep getting German blogs picking me up?! There's 3 and they keep driving me traffic, but I don't know how I've managed to get onto their radar or even if i can replicated that.

Anyone know why this might be? and more importantly how i might be able to replicate it to get more back links?

I would offer to try and work out what the German blogs are about, but everytime I do this in the office I realise that my German really isn't that good.

I'm not sure. I thought because you may have been writing about Trance, but that doesnt seem the case ; ) BTW Do you know where I can get a NUmark Ipod DJ mixer in HK ? They sell them wholesale at Numark HK, but not in any retailer...

Stefan, you'll probably need to find a specialist store...probably in MongKok for 'niche' products, alternatively, try speaking to the sales guys at those electrical stores, some times even if they don't stock it, they can still get ahold of it for you. Dont' get the Numark though, wait for the Pacemaker comes out in Feb over Europe, don't know about SE Asia.

Kier, the blogs are usually about dance music and seem relevant, but i have no idea how they found my blog or why they linked to it.
