I need some expert advice here regarding big portal SEO management. In portals for same product you have different URL's like if you are searching for books then may be you select from some interesting category like "Science". The other option is you go for your favourite author and select the same book. Here what happens, you get 2 URL's for one product and then duplicate content issue will come in front of you.
Can any body suggest me to how to overcome from this problem?
If using a PHP/SQL driven CMS like Joomla/Mambo/Drupal there are lots of little bits of software which will carry this out for you with no tech knowledge required on your part.
Lots of Joomla extensions allow you to create custom URL's, which does away with this issue once and for all. Quite a few of them are free too.
