  Ebay

Just wondering how other people feel Ebay is performing after the switch to their own network?

I was previously doing about £50 per month on CJ with Ebay but July up to press is 60 pence

I'm still getting the same amount of traffic going through so something doesn't ring true.

  Re: Ebay

Personally I have found ebay on their own is much better than with CJ. I have switched to using the api now and I think that made a difference too, so can't compare like for like. But I have no problems with them.

  Re: Ebay

Originally used RSS feeds then converted to API using Magic Parser - did this under CJ about 18 months ago. Spent a month re-doing my code and updating all my sites on the migration to EPN.

Last full month on CJ was around £400, first month on EPN was about £100, second month about £120. I've launched a few sites since so difficult to tell what it's like now. Overall impression is I have lost out.

Their forums are fairly active with people saying they are earning a lot less. Stories of all those "Auction Helpers" steeling cookies, Windows Service packs blocking cookies, stuff not tracking, test purchases not tracking etc etc.

I'm going to stick with EPN for the moment - got too many sites devloped specifically with ebay feeds in mind.

One thing I would say to anybody who has lost out - check your links! Some folk seemed to have re-coded their sites wrongly after the switch.
