How are things going since the launch of paid on results

Things are going ok (a bit slower than I would like but hey, we have mountains to climb). Lots of interested merchants mostly new people to the market however we are having to work with the ones that have shown an interest to get them up to speed as to what affiliate marketing is all about. It amazes me the amount of people that ask for the prices without actually knowing what we can and will offer them.

I have already told several people to go away and re-work what they want to do. I would rather take your money when your ready, as I won’t take money from anyone that I don’t feel that we could make money for from being a merchant at Paid On Results.

We should be hiring the sales folk in June/July and they will be on a good commission level, keeping a percentage of the monthly amount made per merchant they bring on, you will actually find our sales guys will want to make sure they are helping the affiliates and merchants make the most of the programs they bring on. I am hoping for good things in this area, but then Business Development has very little to do with me, I am in the Affiliates/Merchant side of things making sure both parties get what they need to really work the programs.

I am also hoping to introduce a “welcome to what Paid On Results can offer you” package to existing merchants across all networks to allow them the chance to see just what we will do to improve business for them. We are happy and able to build custom interfaces for the right merchants. Plus if anyone has an idea they would like to try out, some new gadget they like to see on our network, they just have to ask and if it’s realistic we will get it programmed without additional cost to them.

With regards to affiliates, I could not be happier; all the guys here just about have supported Paid On Results by joining, I have personally recruited some major affiliate players all be it some of these guys are in specialist areas. However I can confidently say to anyone that will listen, that we have the some of best affiliates already part of our program plus we will actively find and recruit the right affiliates for your program as part of our service to you.

Hey this is turned in to a propaganda message LOL Anyway thanks for asking Purple, I will increase your commission for all merchants now LOL

    Hi Supercod

Havent spoken to you in a while, hope your well.

I think the way you are incentivising salespeople is a really good idea. It will make them think twice when signing up a new merchant, and make them work harder when they feel a merchant may convert well.

If you need a free resource to get new sales people you can't go wrong with www.reed.co.uk, its quite good. You may not want to go for sales people specifically, maybe more account manager types, people with the ability to hold a credible conversation with senior decision makers.

    cheers

I'd love your network to hit the big time, Clarke, because I trust you, as I'm sure do most of the guys here. You've built up a reputation in the industry and can see things from the affiliates end.

I think the logo for Paid on Results is brilliant.

    Good luck

Thanks Nadeem will take some time and plenty of hard work from all involved but it will happen cause I got support from guys (and girls not that you’re a girl) like yourself

Luke: Like the name, sell it to you for £10k LOL Picked that one up a few mins after it dropped, some amount of competition out there for good domain names, not saying this is a great name but be good for a price comparison site if I ever done one.

definitely Clarke, its got a lot of potential and more to the point its short, memorable and has powerful keywords for selling, nice one and good on you for pipping me to the post (now where do you live again?!!).

I got hold of another pretty good one which I did catch so no hard feelings!

Still its absolutely amazing to get pipped to a domain name by someone you know by an hour!! how mad is that.
