  Website Availability

Website Availability

URL: www.websiteavailability.com

We offer a starting rate of 12% rising to a whopping 18% with tiered residual monthly commission on accounts that are sold via our affiliate program, plus we have 2-tier commission opportunities.

Build up your customer base at Website Availability and earn commission on all sales, get paid not only for direct sales but also new repeat sales and renewals from your customer base.

Additional residual commission is paid every month if the customer renews the account. As this is a customer base program any additional sales a customer makes will be credited to you, even if they have no cookie set. The only exception is when a customer returns to buy a new account via another affiliates link.

Commission:

This is the 1st tier commission level.

1 to 9 units sold – commission of 12% ( £1.19 ) per unit.
10 to 19 units sold – commission of 14% ( £1.39 ) per unit.
20 to 29 units sold – commission of 16% ( £1.59 ) per unit.
30+ units sold – commission of 18% ( £1.79 ) per unit.

2-Tier Commission:

2nd tier commission is worked out over all the affiliates you recruit, so if affiliate A has 2 sales and affiliate B has 7 sales, then this means you are at 9 sales total for your sub-affiliates, so if affiliate C sells 3 units then all sales from this affiliate are at the higher rate. Of course the sales can come in any order, I am just demonstrating that you will be on a higher rate of commission once the total is met.

1 to 4 units sold – commission of 10% ( £0.12 ) per unit.
5 to 9 units sold – commission of 15% ( £0.18 ) per unit.
10 to 14 units sold – commission of 20% ( £0.24 ) per unit.
15+ units sold – commission of 25% ( £0.30 ) per unit.

The 2-Tier commission is 10% to 25% of the commission value paid to the affiliate you recruit. Website Availability pays this. The amount of 1st tier commission paid to your affiliate is not affected by what you earn.

Note: That each month whatever you have sold the month before that renews the following month are automatically treated like new sales for that month so you can for example stay on the commission rate for 10+ sales each once you get to this level as long as each customer renews the following month.

Network Program: Website Availability is affiliated with Your Choice Budget, Web and Email Forwarding, British NIC and Mr Pop Box. You will also get commission if the customer goes on to buy from any of these services. They do not have to have visited via your link, they just have to have visited 1 of these sites for the cookie to be set for all and if they buy from any they are tag in the database as your customer so even if they delete the cookie if they do order from any of these services due to our marketing to them, you will also still get commission.

I thought I'd give this a try as I like the concept and Ive beein having some trouble with my host recently

Unfortunately it seems that the server checking is pretty primitive so that my site is actually down, despite the availability checks showing all clear.

I think this may be because part of the server is malfunctioning in a way that html files can be read OK but asp files are crashing so the site fails.

At the end of the day I want to know when my sites aren't working & hence I'm not earning money, not just when the whole server is down as this may only be a small percentage of the downtime.

LOL 999GI, been busy all morning, or would have replied here but glad someone sorted you. Yes can check a number of things like ASP, PHP, your database and so on, just need to set-up a very basic page to say the words "UP". I should really update the site to show some more of the uses it has.

We are not a service that is everything to everyone but what we do offer we feel we do pretty good and very cost effective it is also when you compare to similar services.

I'd be quite scared to order this service, it feels like my host is down more often that up sometimes.

infact so much so that Ive started to put odd sites on completley different hosts, including one with Clarke

I've moved most of my sites away from Openhosting now (assume thats the one your on about Matt) however I managed to coincide it with a nightmare period for Xcalibre, who had been faultless for 4 months, and then fell over when I put most of my best eggs in their basket.

Both Xcalibre and Openhosting are now getting regular emails from Clarkes system, and while they havent complained to me yet, when they do I'll tell them the easiest way to stop them is to provide a half decent service.

I also like the fact that I now have a record of every bit of downtime so I can acutally support all my claims with dates and times.

Matt: Give me a shout and I will set up a free account to take the images used on this board, so that way it won't be slow for the board to load due to down time.. no one has prefect uptime, but I am sure we can do better

999GI: Also keep in mind that because the check is every 5 mins a host can be offline for all of 30 seconds but if the check happens at the exact point when that short down time is showing, it will look like the site been down a full 5 mins when it's simply been a change over of routing provider.

On my UK network if Nildram our main feed fails then the BBC takes over, it's meant to be so fast you never notice but a few times I seen it taken up to a couple of mins.

But like I said no one can be perfect so that's why we have this system, was actually made in the first case for ourselves with us having so many servers and site in 3 different countries we need to know all are working, and checking each and everyone all the time would take to long without a system like this.

Ahh
OK then, in which case why dont you add an option to send an alert if a site has been down for 2 consecutive 5 minute checks - that way it should almost never raise a false alarm, and most people can live with an extra 5 minutes of unknown downtime I'd think.

We will be adding that to the next version of the software (little while off yet), plus adding a good few other things in fact. Most is due to user feedback.

It would have to be an optional thing as some of our very big clients want to know even when that happens, 1 has even requested to check every 1 min, talk about over kill
