Natural Instinct - Customer Base Program

Natural Instinct is proud to announce that they have upgraded their program to use the Paid On Results customer base feature. Natural Instinct are keeping commission rate at 15%, are upgrading the standard cookie from 90 days to 999 days and of course the customer base feature (residual commission) is now active on all sales.

Commission:

15% per sale. Residual Customer Base Program.

As this is a customer base program any additional sales a customer makes will be credited to you even if they have no cookie set (only exception is when a customer returns to buy something via another affiliates link).

Cookie:

999 Days.

Creative:

A range of exclusive creative has been designed by Paid On Results for use by Paid On Results Affiliates to use when promoting Natural Instinct.

Deep Links:

Deep links are possible to all areas of the Natural Instinct site.

CSV file is available, we will be happy to configure the CSV file to be set-up with all your deep links in place, just contact Paid On Results support with your affiliate ID.

Additional Information:

Natural Instinct always run a competition for people to take part in and will be offering many free offers where people only have to pay the postage and packing on the item they can claim for free. This has already been a very popular offer.

Reasons for customers to return and make a purchase included the monthly newsletter sent to all current customers and people taking part in the competitions. Plus all customers who have bought something from Natural Instinct are currently sent a 10% discount voucher with the item they have purchased. This will act as a big draw for bringing people back to buy again.

Well, Natural Instinct have just got themselves promoted to major merchant on a new site we are creating following this news!!

It messes up a few other plans (we were creating a sticky site that other affiliates could promote and get repeat commissions) but thats just the way of (affiliate) life.

Just signed up to the NI on POR. Was looking for some banners (ideally 120's) for your molding comp to run with on GS? Gonna test on GS and then look to go on GE (u guys know what I mean).

Just a case of playing around with the functionality of POD - when I'm not scouring the comp for viruses!

Hi Lee, we are going to make standard competition creative, that we can just drop an image from each new competition in to as they come on board. NI run a new one every month and as you know I have a competition site myself so it would be handy for that also. This competition is about to end however we will get creative in place for future competitions as and when they go live.

Just wish I can get this damn msn sorted so I can spend time putting new stuff up. At least with affilaite marketing I'm still earning whilst I'm not "working".

Hi Lee,

We're working on lots of new creative but as clarke said, this competition is ending soon so we won't be doing any for it now.

We're also going to be replacing the free vibrator offer next wednesday but will have a new offer to replace it and creative to go with it. You'll get an email from both networks later today.

Are there any details available on the new offer? I couldn't find an email from last week that mentioned anything about it.

New offer is launched today, new creative will be going online also today and a message will be sent to all affiliate with regards the new offer, plus we will post about it here.

In the first month (so far) we have had 11 customer base sales. That's sales that have no cookie from repeat customers. Glad to see it's already working at this early stage for some of you and Natural Instinct must be doing something very right when it comes to customer service for people to be repeat buying so soon.

Edit: I had 8 sales down, but actually was looking at the wrong column on the report, 11 was the correct figure so far.

I've had 1 customer base sale (or 3 if I look at a different report ). Works out as roughly 15% extra income!

Would it be possible to store the tracking ID with the customers email so as we can link customer base transactions back to the original source?

rich, i may just be having a thick day but i'm not quite sure what you meant by sroring the tracking ID with the customers email. Any chance you could run it past me again in words of one syllable or less ?

Jon, the tracking question was more for POR really and I was being lazy posting it here. If I set a 'custom tracking ID' on a link to NI and the user buys something, that tracking ID shows in the sales reports. But, if the user registers, then comes back without a cookie, the tracking ID is lost - so we can't tell what promotion was responsible for that sale. If the tracking ID could be stored when the user is added to POR's customer base database, it would help.

BTW, just placed our first order with you the only comment I'd make about the process is the final 'your payment was successful' is a bit bland - it made me think it was an error at first. Got the order confirmation email quickly and that made things better.

In a word yes we can do something here. We are looking at what reporting we can offer to give people a better idea on how the customer base stuff is working for them. You suggestion about tracking ID's has been noted, as it is the intention to show a commission history per customer it will show on the first sale with all follow up sales linked, however in saying that it wouldn't really be a problem to add the initial tracking ID to all future customer base sales that come without a cookie.

In short we will do something, it's added to the wish list and will be slotted in behind current programming projects.
