I see this message has been acted upon as the Games Basement program has now been closed on the network (as of yesterday).
Is it network policy to notify affiliates when a merchant status changes, or am I expecting too much?
Just a bit cheesed off to recently discover Games Basement have been suspended on Paid On Results.
I've checked on here, all emails, junk folder etc, messages within POR but can find no notification of this. Surely it's network policy to advise affiliates.
I wouldn't mind but they have good prices so I've probably sent 1000+ clicks to them in the last couple of months, when I could have sent them to Amazon or other high converting retailers. I imagine it would have generated numerous sales for Games Basement but no commission has been awarded since August.
I don't promote many merchants on POR so don't check the sales regularly, although I have logged in and can still generate deeplinks for them, which is also worrying.
What is the situation with this merchant, are they likely to return?
..and I'd also be interested to know why no notifications were sent as I've noticed other affiliates are still promoting them as well.

Apologises for not seeing your post yesterday on here, remember the best way if you have any questions is to use the Contact Us link in your Affiliate Control Panel or to email support@paidonresults.com. We do email all Affiliates on a program when a program is suspended, announcement of a pending close, and finally when a program is closed. Games Basement was suspended around a month ago due to a few reasons, and an email was sent at the time. We always aim to bring a program back after the issues which caused them to be suspended are resolved, but in this case it was not possible and Games Basement was closed late yesterday which we are as disappointed as you are that was the outcome, an email will be going out today to inform Affiliates of that, it wasn't done yesterday we tend to avoid sending emails too late "after hours". If you can PM me your Affiliate ID I can check to make sure your email address we have for you is current, or you check via the Affiliate Control Panel by clicking Affiliate Profile > Contact Information. We do apologises that you didn't receive the original suspension email.
Hi Graeme,
Thanks for the reply.
I have checked my email address is correct, and looking back through emails I am getting some through regarding merchant closures.
The last suspension notification email I received was for Yukka on 7 October and then going back I have none until April (Magscriber).
I can only assume these emails are going to Junk and have been automatically deleted as they are only kept for 30 days, so I will add the support email address to the safe list.
